A perfect day in Bangkok with the TAGTHAi Pass

First things first – it was such a delight to be back in one of my favorite countries in the whole world – Thailand after nearly 4 years!

Unlike my last time where I spent an entire month just exploring Bangkok, I had only 4 days in the city this time.

Enter TAGTHAi – a unique app that I discovered at the TBEX Conference I attended in Phuket before flying to Bangkok.

Like the video above explains, the pass works like a city pass which comes with tons of activities, entries and F&B combos that you can redeem.

Thanks to TAGTHAi, I was able to maximize my time in Bangkok and make the most of it even in a day!

The awesome part is that if you can manage to cover every place listed in it and redeem it all, the combined value would exceed $1,000!

Here is everything that I managed to do, paying just $27 for it allโ€ฆ

  • Chao Phraya Tourist Boat (value: $5)
This is an excellent way to get around the riverside city and hop across many of the venues and establishments that are part of the pass.
  • Museum Siam (value: $2)
I am a sucker for museums, and although this took a lot of time to explore, I thoroughly enjoyed it. You could skip it and pay for it on another day without the pass.
  • Kingpower Mahanakhon Sky Walk (value: $23)
The absolute MUST DO from all the experiences listed on the app, this 75th floor view of Bangkok is worth every Baht!
  • Lunch at Somtum Der (value: $10)
Specializing in ‘isaan’ (eastern Thai) cuisine, I chose this place due to the proximity to the Silom station and loved the Michelin featured food.
  • Total VR Experience (value: $20)
This was something that was unexpected – I used to diss VR as a nonsense thing, but by the end of my boxing session, I was panting for breath. Please do not miss this if you have the time and interest.

TOTAL VALUE I REDEEMED: ~ $ 60

… that’s at least 2x ROI, and I could have done way more things if say, I skipped the museum).

Tips to maximise your TAGTHAi Pass experience:

  • Start early and book some of the activities like the tuk-tuk hopping a day prior.
  • Also definitely get the Chao Phraya Tourist Boat pass first thing in the morning.
  • Consult the map on the app to figure out your plan.
  • I would personally suggest keeping the Silom region as ‘base’.

Get your own TAGTHAi Pass today!

You can buy it any time, and it will get activated whenever your pass is first scanned.

I would recommend getting it a few days before your Thailand trip.

How to get the amazing TAGTHAi Pass & save money!

You can choose to get a TAGTHAi Pass for any of these cities currently…

Chiang Mai | Pattaya | Phuket | Bangkok | Ayutthaya

If you want ONE reason to get it, I would say that if you plan to do any of these activities in Bangkok for sure, then the TAGTHAi Pass can pay for itself once you do anything else in the day with it! The Mahanakhon Skywalk / a massage / Total VR Experience. Trust me, anything else you do will be a bonus beyond even ONE of these activities.

Don’t forget to share your experience with me once you do this – I would be very curious to know what all you landed up doing with your TAGTHAI Pass. ๐Ÿ™‚

Happy Travels!
