Expo 2020 Dubai – Quick tips for visitors

With just over 10 weeks to go before the greatest show on earth comes to a close, here are my Top Tips for visitors heading to Expo 2020 Dubai

🚇 There’s a direct metro connection to Expo, with Expo 2020 Dubai having its own metro station. It’s the fastest and easiest entry point, IMHO.

💉 Vaccination and tickets are checked at entrance. Both print / digital copies work, so keep these handy.

📜 On-site RT-PCR available for AED 100, results in 10-12 hours. It is also one of the most reasonably priced tests, and you won’t waste extra time scampering for labs.

☕ Hang at District 2020 (the future of Expo, and part of Rove hotel) near the Metro entrance – the only coworking space on-site with a cafe, resto, bar and a fab vibe.

📱 Apps you’ll need:

1. Expo 2020 Dubai (navigation + info)
2. Expo 2020 Business App (networking, one-time $3 fee)
3. Glofox (to book free fitness and gym activities on-site. I used it on Day 1 for a free guided bicycle tour of Expo)
4. Careem – besides biking city transport, can also be used to rent cycles on-site Expo.
